How To Play
The game is simple. You are a designated Fantasy F1 Team Owner. You have a budget of $100,000,000. From your budget you need to build your F1 Fantasy Team. You must pick the following for your team -
4 Drivers
2 Racing Teams
You earn points based on the performance of your drivers and teams in the real F1 GPs.

Note : You *don't have to* picks drivers from the team that you already have chosen. For example, if the two teams I've picked are Ferrari and the Force India F1Team, I can pick 4 drivers from any team not restricted to these two teams I've already picked. I might choose Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg, Jenson Button and Timo Glock as my designated drivers. But I must pick my team within the budget of $100,000,000.

Scoring Points in the Game
Game is broken down to Qualifying, Race Day and Championship Points for scoring.
Qualifying Points
Your Drivers who is first on the starting grid at the start of the race get 50 points
Your Drivers who is second on the starting grid at the race get 30 points
Your Drivers who is third on the starting grid at the race get 20 points
Note 1: You get points for only your Drivers based on their position on the starting grid. See example below.
Example - Qualifying
My Team at Qualifying -
Drivers Teams
K. Raikkonen T. Sato Ferrari
F. Massa G. Fisichella Force India
Starting Grid Results
1. K. Raikkonen
2. F. Massa
3. T. Sato
My Qualifying Team Points would be -
50 Points for K. Raikkonen at Pole Position
30 Points for F. Massa starting at #2 and
20 Points for T. Sato starting at #3
My total points before the start of the race will be - 50 + 30 + 20 = 100 points
Race Day Points
Drivers in your Fantasy Team get a point for every lap completed in the race
Championship Points
You get 10 championship points if your driver finishes first in the GP, 8 points if he finishes second and so on (see points matrix below)
Your constructors also get championship points. In this game, constructors are ranked from 1 to 8 based on the points they accumulate in each race. Constructor ranked 1 gets 10 championship points, ranked 2 gets 8 points and so on (see point matrix below)
The Championship points are awarded according to the following scale:
Driver's Championship Points:
  Driver Finishing Position 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
  Championship points 10 8 6 5 4 3 2 1
Constructor's Championship Points:
 Constructor Rank(based on points accrued) 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
  Championship points 10 8 6 5 4 3 2 1
* In the event that constructors are tied with the same number of points earned from a race, the constructor that has finished in the higher position will get precedence.
For example -
My Team F1 Fantasy Team -
Drivers Teams
K. Raikkonen A. Sutil Ferrari
F. Massa G. Fisichella Force India
Final Race Positions
1. K. Raikkonen (Ferrari)
2. A. Sutil (Force India)
3. G Fisichella (Force India)
4. F. Massa (Ferrari)
5. L. Hamilton (McLaren)
6. H. Kovalainnen (McLaren)
7. F. Alonso (Renault)
8. D. Coulthard (Red Bull)
Then I would get the following Championship Points:
1. 10 points for Raikkonen, 8 points for Sutil, 6 points for Fisichella and 5 points for Massa. A total of 29 points for the drivers in my team.
2. 10 points for Ferrari and 8 points for Force India in my team. A total of 18 Championship points for the constructors in my team.
Constructors ranking would be as follows:
Constructor Points earned Fantasy Game Rank Championship Points earned
Ferrari 10 + 5 = 15 1 10
Force India 8 + 6 = 14 2 8
Mclaren 4 + 3 = 7 3 6
Renault 2 4 5
Red Bull 1 5 4
- - 6 3
- - 7 2
- - 8 1
Note: If for any reason a driver is disqualified from a race for violation of any rules and this information is available within reasonable time after the race, the fantasy game will be scored once again with revised statistics and data from the race. In such an instance the leaderboard and consequently winners may change.
Bonus Circuits
You can select a maximum of 3 tracks as "Bonus Circuits" during the entire 2008 season.

All points are double for your 'Bonus Circuits' so pick your bonus tracks with extra caution. There are a lot of points to be made there.

You can substitute (change) your drivers and teams as many times as you like during the 2008 season as long as your total team cost doesn't exceed the original budget of $100,000,000. So ensure you have the best cars and drivers for every circuit as we traverse the globe.

Make sure to pick your team before the qualifying round for each race starts. Once the qualifying session starts changes you make will only be effective for the next race.

Team Owners with the most points for the race are declared winners and are awarded prizes.

That's not all, points are cumulated as the season progresses and Team Owners with the most points at the end of the 2008 season are declared the 2008 Fantasy F1 Championship Leaders.
You can have a maximum of 3 teams that you can manage. So make good use of multiple teams!
Tips

Double click on drivers & teams to choose them for your Team. The same works to remove them from your Team.

Remember, every driver & team has a cost associated with them & you must form your team within the budget of $100,000.000.

You can pick drivers and teams from different racing teams. You are not forced to pick drivers from the same team you have chosen.

Try & pick one top draw driver / team and then go for other drivers / teams that you are sure will complete the race as that also earns points for you.
